Department for Business and Trade, UK Government, Nov 2023
BCIstudio is featured in UK Government Official Document, published by Department for Business and Trade. This publication explores the importance of inclusive design, emphasising that true accessibility means creating safe, dignified, and user-friendly spaces for everyone. Defined by the UK's Design Council, inclusive design removes barriers to ensure equal access without special accommodations. It, also, notes the economic impact, with the UK's disabled population contributing £274 billion annually. Grounded in polices like the 2010 Equality Act, this guide provides strategies for integrating accessibility into future designs.
In this issued document, BCI Studio's focus on our innovative strategies that prioritise community well-being and accessibility design are being highlighted. The feature points out our approach to creating sustainable, inclusive spaces worldwide, exemplified through recent projects, such as Alamein City in Egypt.
